#HealthyMommy Week 8--Joining the #2WeekChallenge with #Mamavation!
Being healthy is really important to me right now. You know why? 
Just from losing 10 lbs and walking at least 3x a week, I have greatly improved my activity level. I can keep up with my kids and not get too winded! 

For me, being healthy means being able to have fun with them. And to do that, I need to keep working on losing weight so that I am more physically fit.  This week I gained back a pound. Boo! But if that's all I gained back, I'm perfectly fine with that!  It can be disappointing to see the scale going in the opposite direction, but you know what? I'm am trying to stick to a healthier diet. I track what I eat. I try to walk 3x a week for at least 30 minutes or for at least 1 mile per day.  In other words, at least I am headed in the right direction. The scale will catch back up in due time!  If I go back to my pace of 1-2 lbs lost a week, by this time next year I will be down 50 lbs, for a total of 60 lbs. I can live with that!  Next week I'm on my own, but in two weeks, starting on Sept. 16th, I am joining Mamavation.com in their #2WeekChallenge event. Almost every day for two weeks, I will be completing an exercise routine that varies every day, plus watching my food intake. The goal is to lose a few pounds AND a few inches.  I'll be reporting my progress on Twitter and in my weekly #HealthyMommy posts. Here are this week's results: Week 1: 236 lbs Week 2: 235 lbs (-1 lb)

Week 3: 232 lbs (-3 lbs, total -4 lbs)
Week 4: 229 lbs (-2 lbs, -6 lbs total)
Week 5: 230 lbs (+1 lbs, -5 total)
Week 6: 227 lbs (-3 lbs, -9 total)
Week 7: 226 lbs (-1 lb, -10 total)
Week 8: 227lbs (+1 lbs, -9 total)
