And so today, school finished for the year & we now have six weeks or so of summer holidays.....which I don't mind telling you that we are all ready for....very ready!
Another school year gone....this year has been fairly frustrating for me in many ways & I sort of feel that I've fallen into pretty constant state of wishing the days away in order for "better" days to get here.
I say that I want to live in the moment & to focus on the present so these feelings don't really sit well with me....I am already vowing to make some changes when I return from France at the end of August. Life is now, live it....do not wish it away.
Today was super hot in London, 31 degrees to be exact....phew!heat by the beach = good. heat in the city = not so good.
I usually take a week to pack for a trip....I like to do it over a few days so that I can see just what I have - and make sure that I don't forget anything. So far I have accumulated a large pile of books & plenty of sun cream :)Only 12 days until we leave for France....hoorah!
