Jim Bakker’s lying “prophets” have now been debunked
It’s a cool cloudy morning, and I am now sitting down to a Second Breakfast that would make a hobbit blush
With their prediction of doom inside the month of September, Jim Bakker’s false prophets have moved on to doom-saying on October, November, December, etc. Some of these rascals have been pushing the date forward for years now.
Is it all good news? No it’s not. The world has been ready to explode at a given moment from before I was born. Evil people are still doing evil things. But we can at least dismiss those who shamelessly exploit fear as a way of selling their goods.
In the midst of it all, God remains true.
Even though I walk through
the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.– Psalm 23:4-5
And as for the table set before me, I have a heart filled with gratitude to a Shepherd who cares for his sheep so much that he gave his life for them.
“My sheep know my voice. They will not follow another.”
