On the 16th of April 1964 my Dad (and his Twin Brother) were born. That is 50 years ago today. This weekend we are going for a meal with friends and family to celebrate my Dads and uncles 50th.
It is one of those bitter sweet days, they are the youngest of 5 children which meant my grandparents were older when they had them and are sadly no longer with us, and I know that its one of these celebrations where the family celebrate together and there are people missing.
But time to crack open the champagne and celebrate! I love my Dad so much, he acts all business man but he is really a soft teddy bear!
I remember his 40th Birthday like it was yesterday, and with them getting older means I'm getting older. I must have only been 8 when he turned 40 and now I am 18!
