Hannah’s New Apartment

By Youngandcraftysisters

So I am officially settled into my new apartment. All of the boxes are unpacked and I have thins mostly the way I want them. Of course, there are plans for things I want to change!  It has proven to be the perfect size for me though. I downsized a LOT. I went from a 3 bedroom house to a 1 bedroom apartment. I thought that I would give you guys a quick little tour. It will be quick because it’s not very big.

Here is my cute little kitchen. Above the countertops was kind of by accident! We were unloading boxes and just started putting décor items up there to get them out of the way. Then my mom started to arrange them and it sort of stuck. I kinda love it.

You can find the post for the EAT letters HERE, the lantern redo HERE, the black and white string art HERE, and the window frame coat rack HERE.

I found these two stools at none other than Target. I loved the industrial vibe. My apartment does not have a dining room so this is where I eat!

There is no pantry and I needed every bit of cabinet space for dishes and things. I had to get a little creative for creating a pantry. The washer and dryer are right off the kitchen and there was so much empty dead space. I got some simple wire rack shelves to hold ziploc bags, paper plates, and other random things. I also got a door rack that has been the best thing ever. It holds so much stuff and is pretty much my pantry!

This is a shot looking into my living room from the kitchen. I got a new couch and chair for a great price. They were exactly what I wanted. Linen, cream, and so comfy.

You can find the tutorial for the mirror redo HERE, the white side table HERE, the dresser HERE, and the windsor chair HERE.

I picked up the filing cabinet from and estate sale for a steal of $12. I’ll be honest, the dresser was temporary and I’ve already got a new entertainment center to show you guys!

apartment 6

This whole set up was in the guest bedroom at my old house. Let me tell you, I am so over that comforter! I’ve had my eye out for something else. I really like quilts and I am leaning towards white so that I can change accent colors if I want.

I temporarily had this table on this wall. It is no longer there and the dresser from the living room was moved in it’s place. The table, sadly, was sold in the garage sale.

I have a really nice sized closet. Trust me, I have used every square inch. I know it looks messy here but it really is well organized!

apartment 9

Inside my closet to the left is where I keep my  jewelry. I just nailed some of those picture hangers into the wall.

And here’s my little bathroom. I kept the shower curtain from my old guest bathroom.

You can see the bathroom remodel HERE.
