Half Way Through Hump Day.

Hi guys. Wednesday is almost over and guess what… if it’s almost over it means it’s almost time for my next Top Chef University recipe!!! I’m already counting down the minutes. Tonight is another soup and it looks tasty.

Breakfast

I was very un-traditional and had not 1 but 2 bowls of leftover Rustic Chicken Noodle Soup. I can never just have 1 bowl of soup… it’s like having just 1 pringle. NOT. POSSIBLE.

Donner decided, without tasting any, that he really… really really

really… really…liked the soup.

Donner had a pretty good night last night. Every once in a while we get a night where we go to bed around 10pm and he wont wake up at all until 6:30am. I really wanted last night to be one of those. I had a basketball game last night that we lost, by 1, at the buzzer, in double overtime. I was all riled up and didn’t get home until 10:30pm. I drank a glass of syrah to cool off and settle down for bed.

Anyways, I was hoping Donner would be a little angle-puppy and sleep til 7 or 7:30… he decided at 5 that he was over sleeping and ready to chew on my nose.

But Donner has decided to be a very good work puppy and just lay quietly at my feet under my desk so I’m giving him a pass on waking me up before the sun this morning.

Lunch

A little smoked tri-tip, sandwich style with bbq sauce. Homemade potato salad from Joe. He always uses lots of pickles and olives!!!

Donner has taken his “HOGGING” tendency to new levels. First it was the sidewalk and now…
