I’m often asked about my hair, but I’ll let you in on a little secret: the main reason I have long hair is because I look terrible with short hair (round face)! The second reason is that I’m very lucky that my 1/2 Japanese side gave me good hair, which I feel I should take advantage of, right? The third reason is that I have A LOT of hair, so I’ve found that keeping it long helps to weigh it down and keep it straight. I’m a HUGE fan of UNITE hair products, thanks to my hair stylist. While I use the 75SECONDS Detangler, LAZER Straight Relaxing Fluid, and ARGAN Oil every day, I’ve used these as well and they are equally amazing:

For my routine, since I’m at home working during the day, after I apply the above three daily products (and have brushed it straight), I’ll twist and tie it into a bun and let it dry naturally for wavy hair. When I want to go straight, I’ll blow dry and use a flat iron (although with the LAZER Straight I often don’t even need to flat iron), but keep the top layer tied in a bun to provide some volume and a few waves around my face. Either way, release the bun when you’re ready to roll. Voilà!
