H2D is a brand that I have really loved for a long time and if you go through my earlier blog posts you will see that even 2 years ago when I started this blog, I really was a big fan of theirs.
The H2D brand and website underwent a bit of a makeover and a few new products have been released, including the VI Professional Ionic and Infrared Hair Straighteners. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a set and so wanted to share my thoughts with you all.Packaging
The straighteners come in a black sleek box which upon being opened has a magnetic flap. You will see the instructions and product details are secured to the inside of the box neatly and the straighteners themselves are presented in the center of the box.
Product
The straighteners themselves are black and have quite slim plates. The inside of the straighteners has a thin red line down one of the plates which lights up in bright red when on, this is the Infrared aspect of the straighteners. Not gunna lie, when I first saw it I thought there was something wrong with it - LOL! You will also see the wee heat adjuster thingy me jiggys and the LED display on the front shows you which temperature the straighteners are currently at which I was quite impressed by, I liked seeing the temperature change as I adjusted it.
Result
My hair is shoulder length and is relatively thick, which can be frizzy sometimes. I was able to straighten my hair in less than 10 minutes and it was perfectly straight. I haven't noticed any dryness in my hair since using these either but as always, I have been using a heat protectant.
Final Thoughts
I really like these, they are quite unlike any other straighteners that I've used before and so think these are fantastic. If your boyfriend/girlfriend/partner/husband/friend/sister/mum/dad/aunt is looking for a great Christmas gift idea for you, then point them in this direction, they're even reduced from £119 to £77 right now - Bargain!
