Gypsy Bond is a Steel Magnolia Press publication. This book was released in January 2012. There are 45 pages.
Juliet fell in love with the 'gypsy', Marko and the two were married in a ceremony honored by Marko's people. But, when Juliet's family hears of the situation, they try to marry her off to an older man. Marko leaves the area, but Juliet continues to keep her wedding vows of forsaking all others. When she learns Marko is back, she demands to take her place as his wife.
Marko doesn't think Juliet would really want to live his gypsy lifestyle and tries to forget her. But, when Juliet's bothersome brother once more attempts to marry her off, Marko must make a choice.
Sometimes for me short stories are hit or miss. Some are very good and some just skip over too many details and characters never really develop. I was little concerned when I saw how short this one was. However, this was an enjoyable read and certainly not a bad way to spend your down time. No, there isn't really anything earth shattering or unique about it, but it didn't have that rushed through feeling that turns me off short stories. A nice break time escape. This one gets a C+.
