It took a long time for a startup to come up with the technology necessary to create a real-life hoverboard, and sadly it’s not even close to affordable for ordinary people. This guy named Ryan Craven from Austin, Texas got tired of all these bullshit stories, he’s decided to make a hoverboard for himself.
Using nothing but four garden leaf blowers and some clever engineering, Ryan made himself a DIY hoverboard at home, that actually lifts him a few inches above ground. Take that you fake hoverboard trolls!

Ryan was kind enough to share his creation with the world. You can find all of the project materials on his website to build your own hoverboard like this one at your home. If you decide to give it a try, be sure not to go crazy like attaching rockets to the hoverboard.
