If you want to achieve the rock chic hair & makeup looks its usually bold eyes and a nude lip, going for a black smoky eye is a rock chic staple, it doesn't have to be too perfect, the dishevelled look is all part of the 'trend'. Hair again is dishevelled with choppy layers or tossed curls.
The rock chic 'trend', my take on the look.... I'm not too comfortable with the word 'trend'. I don't usually follow trends so much and these looks, above, are looks that I would definitely wear, I think rock chic is more a attitude then a look. Its masculine,bold, edgy and kind of bad ass.... you can edge up a more girly look with something a bit bad ass to anchor the look and make it look less girly, if that's the look your going for?
The looks above are very wearable and aren't the extreme end of the rock chic looks. Anything military, leather, studded, zipped are all rock chic worthy... noting is ever too perfect cos its meant to look effortless and slept in
