Guest Post: Fiona's Mac Look.

By Natalieroseanne @clutzyprincess

Hello readers! My name is Fiona and I’m a beauty and fashion blogger from Ireland, I write over at La Belle Dame Sans Merci. I’m delighted to have this opportunity to write as a guest blogger for Natalie! Her blog is amazing and I’m guessing you think so too considering you are reading it. I wanted to write about something I am completely in love with and use everyday and that is MAC limited edition mineralize eye shadows. I began collecting these shadows in 2009 and haven’t stopped since. I think they are absolutely amazing and fabulous for blending and creating bold eye looks for a special occasion or a night out on the town. Another thing I love about these eye shadows is that most of the limited editions come in contrasting tones of light and dark which are great for highlighting and giving a nice strong color to the eyelid.
I wanted to create some looks to show you just how great the pigments are in these MAC shadows and to also demonstrate the shimmery effect they have which really makes eye color stand out.Guest Post: Fiona's Mac Look.
I first put the lighter tone of the MAC Polar Opposite eye shadow, wish is a white/grey tone, just under the brow line to highlight the eye. I then coloured the whole lid using MAC Young Punk eye shadow which is a lovely purple, shimmery tone. I put GOSH liquid eyeliner on the top lash line to create a nice finish to the eyelid. I then went for a nineties grunge eyeliner look by smudging MAC Smutty Green eye shadow on the lower lash line, which is a lovely green tone with a great shimmer effect. I finished the look by applying MAC kohl eyeliner to the water line. I think the finished look is pretty bold, perfect for a night out or for the Christmas party season!

I would love to thank Fiona for coming over to my blog and writing this post for me. I'm so jealous of her Mac collection, and the two eyeshadows up there are absolutely gorgeous. The look so has created is definitely an out their look, and it's so shimmery! Fiona is a new blogger, so I'm glad she had the chance to do a post for me. You should definitely check out her blog, click here. And hopefully she'll show us some more of her Mac collection.
If you would like to do a guest post for me please email me at [email protected].
Thank you for reading!
