Welcome to this month’s What’s What In Beauty and Fashion. We have quite a few things to cover this episode. So let’s just jump right into it.

We will start in makeup. Just as last month, there has been quite a few product launches with the drugstore world. Some noteworthy ones being:

GRW 30: Nicki Minaj Clothing Line at Kmart & More

L’Oreal Liquid Powder Foundation. A liquid-to-powder foundation that promises a natural, powder finish that’s also lightweight. You can see my complete review here:

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Stick. The latest member of the Maybelline Fit Me family. These stick foundations promises to keep you shine free throughout the day. I tried the original Fit Me foundations and it wasn’t “good to me” as an oily skin gal. So most likely I will not try this product.

Both Maybelline and L’Oreal also released new mascaras to their lines: Big Eyes Falsies Mascara and Voluminous Million Lashes Excess.

NARS will be releasing 2 limited edition blush palettes ($41). They will have a cheek, contour and highlight shade all built in. There will be 2 shades: Soulshine (pink) and Realm of the Senses (peachy).

Benefit Cosmetics will also release a new cheek powder – Rockateur. It will be a rose gold shade and it the boxed packaging we’ve come to know and love from Benefit.

Katy Perry will be releasing her Killer Queen fragrance. Key notes will be wildberry, bergamot, red velvet flowers, jasmine and more. I couldn’t believe there was a “red velvet” flower. You know I had to look it up. It will be available August 28th.

Nicki Minaj will be releasing her very own clothing line in the fall. I know, not quite a “shocker.” What is a shocker is who will carry it. Kmart! Nicki Minaj and Kmart just doesn’t seem like they would be in the same sentence. A truly unlikely pair. The “sexiest” thing in Kmart is the countless Martha Stewart collections. I just can’t picture Nicki Minaj clothing displaying next to Martha Stewart’s linens. This…I can’t wait to see!

Can you imagine Nicki Minaj collection at Kmart? What are your predictions for the line? Do you think it can be successful at Kmart? Wouldn’t it be a better fit for Target? That would be easier to picture.
