This easy-to-use bottle opener was designed to open beer with a simple one-handed grab. All it takes is a simple one-handed grab to open your bottle. Simply put the opener on your finger, wrap your thumb around the bottle and gently squeeze as you would a pair of scissors. That's it! In your choice of colorful aluminum, it's the perfect pocket accessory that you'll bring to every party.

GrOpener. Grab Opener by Mark Manger About the Designer: Mark Manger
For designer Mark Manger, the thrill of design comes from turning everyday devices into otherworldly objects of style and efficiency. “I want to create things with graphic simplicity,” Mark says, “that perform conventional tasks in an unconventional and improved fashion.” His goal with his GrOpener was to turn a two-handed and unchanged-for-years task into a faster, simpler and more efficient maneuver. The device was based on a simple stick & screw bottle opener he’d seen years ago while working in Ghana as a Peace Corps art teacher.
Mark’s background includes a BFA in Applied Arts and an art foundation built on graphic design and printmaking. He studied under printmaker E.C. Cunningham, whose eye for line and meticulous approach had a lasting influence on Mark’s design process.
