Google Page Rank Update
Assalamualaikum. ( Greetings of Peace )
This will be a short and quick post. I just want to share with you that after seven months of constantly updating this blog, my efforts didn’t go to waste. As of December 6, 2013, this blog has already been ranked by Google. It has now a Google Page Rank 2. Yay! Alhamdulillah! All praise belongs to Allah!
For the past months, I’ve been regularly checking my page rank which was still zero then because Google was supposed to update page rank quarterly but I always leave the page disappointed because Google haven’t done so until 6th of December this year. I wasn’t aware of the update myself until I checked it yesterday which I randomly do and to my delight there it is…..Page Rank 2!
There were rumors that there will be no page rank update for the year 2013 save for the last update which was on February 4, 2013 and the probability of page rank update might be next year or worst, maybe they will stop the updates at all. Of course, this brought alarm to the blogging world because Google Page Rank is important as it gives credibility to the blog and websites. The higher your page rank, the better your blog is doing in the Google search. It is not known as to the exact mechanism how the Google rank your blog but aside from search engine optimization or SEO, there are also other factors that play a significant key in their ranking.
What Does Gooogle Page Rank means?
Although many bloggers does not pay attention to Google Page Rank update because they just want to blog to vent but still this is a good news for the bloggers and website admins. It is self-gratifying that somehow, what you’ve been writing has reached an audience. Another good news is, more direct advertisers put their trust on blogs with higher page rank and bloggers can monetize through this. Bloggers also will have the confidence to lay down business proposals for prospective advertisers given their good page ranking.
This Google page rank may mean less to those who already have a longer green pixel on their page rank but for newbie bloggers like me and many others out there, this means a lot. So I want to take this space to thank all my readers from different parts of the world who keep on visiting this blog. You are all part of the growth of this blog which started as an outlet of me venting about my struggles in life hence my URL is myeverydaystruggles and was actually the first title of this blog.

To all the blogs who gained a rank higher or two, congratulations for the job well done. Keep up the good work to improve your page rank or at least to retain it until the next update. For those who didn’t make it, there is still time.
