So today I was supposed to go out and shoot my new outfit for my upcoming post however here In the UK it’s so windy I’ve had to postpone it until midweek, the windswept look isn’t the look I was hoping for! So I’ve decided to do a bridesmaid inspo post. Next March my little sister is getting married and I’m so excited to be Matron of Honour for her (now I’m married it’s Matron of honor rather than maid of honour). She did such an amazing job at being maid of honor for me, I want to return the favour. The job of the Matron of Honour is to help the bride with preparations for the wedding such as dress shopping, assisting with fittings, help planning the day along with planning the bridal shower and assisting the bride the morning of the wedding, helping her get dressed and make sure everything is running smoothly for her. I’ll also be there to assist her inside the church and while she’s having photos taken. I’ll make sure I carry the emergency kit in my bag which contains things like tissues, plasters, lipstick, pain killers, clear nail vanish, hair clips, the list goes on! I might do a full post on the bride’s emergency kit.
I miss planning my wedding so much it’s nice to help my sister with hers, having only planned a wedding throughout 2013/2014 so I feel like I can give her tips and advice from my own experience. Above is my inspo board full of makeup, hair & nail ideas along with a few other things. Kim K is definitely my inspiration when it comes to hair & make up, she always looks perfect!
