Godumai Ravai upma(Broken Wheat Upma)

By Harini
Here I am blogging about a very traditional breakfast recipe, upma with godhumai ravai(broken wheat).Godhumai ravai is a high fiber ingredient and it is the best alternate for normal rava(cream of wheat). Unlike normal ravai, this broken wheat is very healthy and light on tummy. It is a very much prescribed food for diabetics. You can cook this godhumai ravai almost very much like rava, upma, idly, dosai, kher etc.The aroma of this broken wheat is very enticing and tastes great too. Here is a simple upma brightened with loads of veggies,a wholesome breakfast and very much toddler friendly.
