It's GlowwBox Time and this marvelous month of May, its all about Summer essentials. I seem to fall more in love with GlowwBox by the month and their product picking skills are so on point.
In the May GlowwBox, I had the pleasure of receiving a Nyx Nail Polish in Pastel Yellow (which I'm wearing in the pictures), which is perfect for the current season. I think its such a flattering colour and a perfect shade for the majority.
I haven't used a mask in quite some time so I was excited to try out the Montagne Jeunesse Face Masques. I decided to start with the Avocado Oil & Walnut Exfoliating Face Masque and I loved it. It had a lovely but natural scent and great sized granules which I prefer. I left it on for about 15 mins and once it was dried, washed it off. I love that my face felt moisturized as opposed to dried out like I've experienced in the past.
Also included is the Nyx matte lipstick in 'Perfect Red' and we all know I love a good red. I actually prefer a matte finish to a shiny one as I think that suits full lips better. I found the lipstick to be quite moisturizing considering I had it on for more than half the day and didn't feel it drying out.
I tried applying the Lipcote lipstick sealer but must admit I wasn't in awe, although my sister is a huge fan. I found it weird to apply (think using a nail varnish brush) and it also had a tingly sensation. Also because I'm quite good at keeping lipstick on throughout the day without reapplying (yes, even after eating), I didn't really see the need.
I love the UrbanVeda Radiance Exfoliating Facial Polish as part of my daily wash as I'm big on exfoliating and it works a treat. So it's safe to say I was a happy bunny with this month's picks and better so as they're all usable for my birthday preprations (May 26, had to get that in there).
