Summary:
Summer’s arrived with June’s Glossybox, and from the looks of it we’re in for a treat! I’ve been provided with a selection of 6 products (lucky me getting more than the usual 5!) which I know will come in useful throughout the summer for the face, hair and body. Want a more in-depth insight into what I got?
I’ll start with my favorite product. It’s the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse OR which is a lovely shimmery dry oil which can be used on your face, your hair and over your body to nourish your skin and give it a lovely shimmer. This is a 10ml sample worth £3.40 (full size is 100ml = £34).
My second favorite product is the Figs and Rouge Coco Rose lip balm. My friend and I are bizarrely obsessed with flamingoes so I was very excited to see them on a tinted lip balm. This one is a pale pink and it smells nice too which is a bonus. It seems to be slightly textured for nourishment which is fab, and a little goes a long way. This is a full size 12.5ml sample worth £5.00.
Ever since trying the Monu Warming Aromatic Face Mask in January’s Glossybox I’ve been eager to try more Monu products. I was so happy with that one, although I have found this Hydrating Moisturiser to be a little heavy for my oily skin. It has been suggested that applying this several times throughout the day will bring optimum results, but I don’t really have the time or patience for that. It’ll be a great addition to my night time routine though, I’m sure, even though it has SPF15! This is a 30ml sample worth £17.97 (full size is 50ml = £29.95).
Paul Mitchell is a brand that I’ve been quite uncertain about, but I’m looking forward to giving the Full Circle Leave-In Treatment a go. As someone with very straight hair I’ve always wanted curly hair, so this might be a quick and easy solution for that. I guess we’ll have to wait and see! This is a 15ml sample worth £1.12 (full size is 200ml = £14.95).
Another Paul Mitchell product in this box! This is the Ultimate Wave creme which will give your hair that wavy beach hair look. Anything to make my straight hair more lively is definitely a benefit for me, so again I’m definitely looking forward to giving this one a go! This sample is 15ml worth £1.20 (full size is 150ml = £11.95).
Lastly is the Q Body Spray in ‘Q:Balance’. I got a lovely spray with Iris and Mimosa which the bottle says smells romantic, soft ad sensuous, and I think I would agree with that. I like it because it smells fresh yet also a little musky, so it’s a nice well-rounded scent for most ages. This sample is full size and worth £2.29.
