Glo and Ray Cosmetics Creamy Matte Lip Colour

By Natalieroseanne @clutzyprincess
Hey guys, today for you I have a brand that I haven't recently been trying, Glo & Ray. Their are a new brand, only formed in September 2012, from the UK.To set the scene they say:
The brand name is derived from “Glo”, a gentle luminance; and “Ray”, vibrant beam of light. In a pitch-dark world, the two appear on the stage gracefully like two dancing girls. Different in characteristics, yet harmoniously integrated into an ideal picture of a perfect combination, sensual and graceful, complimenting feminine beauty.
This is Glo&Ray, elegant, glamorous, unique and professional.
The company was kind enough to gift me some of their Creamy Matte Lipsticks and some of their eye liners. Today I'm showing, and reviewing, their Creamy Matte Lipsticks - I have 6 shades to show you.Glo and Ray LipstickTo start with the lipsticks are housed in a cardboard black box, and the casing of the actual lipstick is a matte black. The black matte is very fitting for the matte lipsticks.Glo and Ray LipstickGlo and Ray LipstickGlo and Ray LipstickGlo and Ray Lipstick, SwatchesGlo and Ray LipstickGlo and Ray LipstickWhen I saw that they were creamy matte, I was a bit pessimistic as I finding matte extremely drying on the lips. With that said, these lipsticks feeling extremely hydrating to the lips and are very flattering on the lip. They are all beautifully pigmented and apply effortlessly on the lips. My only qualm is that some of the darker colours, such as Imprinted Red, need a lip liner to make the edge of the lips flow a lot better. To break down the colours I love the variety of the shades. There are several pink/coral colours but on the lips they have enough variation to give a different look. My favorite out of the 6 I received is definitely the first one, Cupid. It is a perfect pink colour, that will be perfect for spring and summer. The wear time is around 3 to 4 hours, and they fade flatteringly over the whole lip rather than blotchy. The lipsticks cost £12* from their website www.glo-ray.co.uk and you can check the out here.I have to say the quality of these matte shades makes it worth the price and I definitely say they contend with macs matte lipsticks, if not have the slight edge as they are very hydrating to wear. What do you guys think?I'll be reviewing their eye liners tomorrow :).Natalie Roseanne <3
