Josie Maran's Glowing Argan Oil Skincare Essentials set comes with four products that will help you achieve not only gorgeous, dewy skin, but also well hydrated skin. I have oily skin, so these products aren't geared towards me, but I have been enjoying them. If you have normal to dry skin, I think you will love this set even more than I do. I am going to go through the four products individually and do a mini review on each one.
The main product that caught my attention was the Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm. This product is designed to be a primer/finishing product in one. It has whipped argan oil with anti-aging ingredients and minimizes pores while hydrating the skin. I really like this as a primer, but not as a finishing product. It does an amazing job of hydrating your skin and it actually does help minimize the appearance of pores without feeling like silicone. It didn't work for me as a finishing product because my foundation rubbed off a little bit and it almost appeared blurry. It doesn't make my oily skin any worse, which is always a great thing. I am not sure I would buy a full size, but I will gladly take any deluxe samples or buy gift sets that have it. The size in this kit is 0.18 oz and the full size is $36 for 0.5 oz.
Up next is the Argan Enlightenment Illuminizer. Don't let the swatches scare you. It doesn't look that intense when applied. I absolutely love this stuff. Not only does it do an incredible job of making my skin look more dewy, it also warms up my complexion without making me look muddy. It makes me look like I have been at the beach for a week. I also like that it comes in a pump. That is something I can always appreciate. The size of the illuminizer in the kit is 0.23 oz and the full sized one is $26 for 0.5 oz.
A Josie Maran set is not complete without her 100% Pure Argan Oil. I have two full sized bottles already. I don't use this everyday. I use it on my hair right after I wash it and I only use it on my skin when it feels really dry. This is something I always have on hand. This little guy is only 0.5 oz, but you only need a little bit.
The last product in this set is her Nirvana Hydrating Treatment Mist. This is probably my favorite product in this set. You know how with most facial mists one spray will feel like you just went swimming? This doesn't do that. The mist is very fine and precise. It is absolutely amazing. It adds an extra boost of hydration and it makes my skin feel very refreshed. It also smells nice without being overpowering. The bottle in this set is 1.5 oz while the full size is 3.2 oz and it costs $38.
This set is $36 online and in store at Sephora. The retail value is $65. This is a great way to try out some of her products if you have not already had the chance to. Some of the products might seem a little small, but a little bit goes a very long way. I definitely recommend picking this up, especially if
you have drier skin.
