This week’s frock has been selected from an edit of street style or rather, festival-style from Coachella 2013, shot by Leslie Kirchoff for Vogue. The frock is by who knows (sorry guys), but the jacket is Helmut Lang and they are being worn very well by Vera Balyura, a New York-based Ukraine-born jewelry designer. I’ve chosen this frock today because it has served as inspiration for my look tonight. Tonight hubby and I are going on our first date night in way-too-long, and so I want to look nice, and even though it’s midwinter here, dammit I am going to wear a frock! I have a cute short dress which I am going to pair with a tailored jacket and opaque tights and boots. And so, in a round-about way, this look has influenced my outfit for tonight!
What are you up to this weekend? We’ve a busy one ahead with last minute birthday gift shopping for our youngest daughter Annabel – I am at a complete loss as to what to get her. How can that be? We are also going to be out and about looking at buying a car. Fun fun fun!
