Girl's First Shoes Ideas!

By Ourbabyblog @OurBabyBlogx
Now that Abbie is well into toddlerhood and exploring the world on her feet, Ive been looking into getting her her first pair of shoes, I actually had a dream last night we bought her some really pretty brown boots (must try and find them online!), I'm so excited to get some for her and watch her learn to walk with them on, at the moment she has the soft soled shoes which aren't made for walking toddlers and she ends up taking them off within about 40 seconds anyway! Hmmm. I'm not a big shoe girl myself, yes really, I actually have one pair of boots, a pair of heels (can't walk in them), some tennis shoes and some slippers (do they count?), I have my trusty pair of trainers too just if i'm popping to the shops! Girl's First Shoes Ideas!1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 WelliesA necessity for autumn & winter, if there's a puddle, you can guarantee your little one will splash in it! Not only are they weatherproof, sturdy, strong & long lasting, they come in so many different patterns and designs for all the family, bright colours, characterised and you can even get custom made ones now, fancy! I cannot wait to get Abbie her first pair, teaching her to splash around and watching her giggle and smile :)  Trainers/ConverseEverytime I walk into a sports shop I go straight to the kids section, they always have the cutest trainers I've seen, I don't even understand how they can be made so tiny! I secretly think they hire Borrowers to make them..! With their little laces and light up heels, a  must have for every toddler, they'll probably want the all singing all dancing, sparkly, light up ones that cost three times the price as the normal pair, but which ones do you buy? Of course the fancy pair! I remember my first pair of light up trainers, they were my favorite shoes ever, who remembers stamping their foot on the ground to show everyone how they light up? They'll never go out of style & will be on the wish list of most children this Christmas!Crocs for kids!I'm not the biggest fan of crocs for adults, but when I saw the collections available for kids I fell in love with them! From their favorite tv characters to pretty butterflies, the ones i've mentioned in the image above are my absolute favourite! Not only because of the adorable Hello Kitty design but also because they are fleece lined! So perfect for indoors and outdoors whilst keeping their little toes snug and warm :)What were the first shoes you bought for your LO?Do you remember your first pair?x
