Look at how pretty these Ginger & Co products are!! They are so kitsch and retro I’m a little in love with them. You’ve probably seen a lot about this brand on Twitter and Facebook, there’s been quite a hype about them in the Irish blogging world, so when I was sent out the above products to try out I was excited! Ginger & Co is a budget 1940′s inspired bath and body brand (similar to Soap & Glory!), all their products are available to buy for less than €5 each.
Now depending on your taste in fragrances, these products will either be right up your alley or not your cup of tea at all. However, I LOVE the smell of these retro bottles of goodness. Infused with lots of yummy stuff like lemon balm, marshmallow leaf, blossom honey, mallow and rose which gives a subtle very feminine scent. It’s not too over-powering or cloying… just perfect. My sister is also a big fan, she’s been using the body lotion & body was every day since I received them…
Soft On You Comforting Body Butter
My favorite of the bunch. Soft and buttery and yum. It rubs in easily as it’s light, smells amazing and is a genuine pleasure to use. I’m normally too lazy to bother with body butters after a shower, but with this I actually look forward to it. My skin is left soft and moisturied after, plus it’s not really expensive so I don’t feel guilty slathering it on as I do with some of my more expensive butters.
Hand It To Me Dreamy Hand Cream
Great size product, easily absorbed to make skin feel soft and lovely, smells awesome. Nothing too intense but great for general hydration. I’ve found myself reaching for it more than any of my other hand creams.
Soft On You Daily Body Lotion
A little creamier than the body butter, this is the perfect companion to the body wash. It leaves your skin hydrated, clean and smelling delish. I generally focus this products on my elbows, knees and feet to give them a little extra attention. It also sinks in easily so you don’t have to wait around for it to absorb for you to get dressed. LOVE THIS.
Bathing Beauty Moisturising Bubble Bath & Wash
Unfortunately due to the fact I don’t have a bath in my house (IT”S THE WORST) I can’t use this product to create a yummy smelling bubble bath. Sooo I do use it as a shower gel and it works just perfectly. Lathers up, leaves you feeling soft and clean and smelling super girly and fresh.
All in all, I am a huge fan of Ginger & Co, they do a great job for a small price tag. Obviously keeping the price in mind, don’t expect miracles from these products, they probably won’t do much for super sensitive skin or for someone with a skin ailment. However they will leave you mositurised and smelling gorgeous, if floral and feminine is your deal. I will definitely be heading into Penneys to pick some more up when I run out!
