GHD - Straight and Tame Cream

By Natalieroseanne @clutzyprincess
Hey guys! I don't know if you know but I have natural curly, quite frizzy, hair. I sometimes wear my hair au natural, but I prefer it straight. I use my trusty GHD's to straighten my hair, but to be honest because I have such long hair it takes a while. I was excited to try GHD's Straight and Tame Cream, to see if it could control my curly hair and leave the straighteners alone for a while.

photo DSCF6354_zps620eecbe.jpg photo DSCF6359_zps529feb62.jpgThe directions say to apply three to five pumps to towel dried hair before blow drying, and to massage between your hands to apply evenly, and then blow dry your hair. I did find I actually used more than 5 pumps, but I have quite long hair and so I generally have to use more than the recommended amount of products.

photo DSCF6361_zps335071d0.jpgOnce I applied it, it seems really light weight and it wasn't a thick cream and I didn't feel like I had product in my hair. After I dried it I noticed my hair was significantly straighter than it would be compared to just blow drying it. It also kept the frizz down for a few days, which is amazing because my hair reacts terribly to the weather. The GHD Straight and Tame Cream retails at £14.95*, and you can get it from GHD Hair online here. I know it seems quite pricey, but to be honest I think you get plenty of product (120ml) and being you only need so many pumps I see it lasting a while. Also, with all GHD products you are paying for the quality of the product.I'd definitely recommend trying this goody, and it has taken place over my Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum.Have you tried any of the GHD products?Thank you for reading!Natalie Roseanne <3
