I just went back to work on two abstract paintings I'd left unfinished, which is always a challenge. It takes a while to get back into the process when it's been interrupted. Canvas #123 looked more complete, so I worked at breaking down that "finished" look. Then I tried to add more interest to canvas #124, which seemed too static.
By the time I finished today's painting session, I felt I'd made the better painting worse and the worse painting better. I'll keep working on both of these.
