What is the plot of Geek Girl?

Since the series is solely based on the teen novel, it will follow the same story as written. Meanwhile, a synopsis of the novel by the Bookreads explained,

Harriet Manners knows a lot of things. She knows that a cat has 32 muscles in each ear, a “jiffy” lasts 1/100th of a second, and the average person laughs 15 times per day. What she isn’t quite so sure about is why nobody at school seems to like her very much. So when she’s spotted by a top model agent, Harriet grabs the chance to reinvent herself. Even if it means stealing her Best Friend’s dream, incurring the wrath of her arch-enemy Alexa, and repeatedly humiliating herself in front of the impossibly handsome supermodel Nick.

Hence, according to the synopsis, we will likely see the story of Harriet and her struggles to impress Nick.

Is There a Trailer for Geek Girl?

While the series has already received its premiere dates, a highly anticipated trailer is awaited. Besides, catching a glimpse of the series, you can read an official synopsis released by Netflix that explains,

Awkward teen Harriet has always wanted to fit in. Until she gets scouted by a top London model agent and learns that some people are meant to stand out.

Is There Be a Geek Girl Season 2?

Since Netflix announced the rom-com as a limited series, it has a lower possibility of receiving a second season.

On the other hand, the upcoming series is based on a novel that has six entries in total. While the initial novel is adapted into the debut series of the same name, the novel series still has five books remaining. Hence, there are potential chances of creators renewing a second season of Geek Girl.

Meanwhile, if Geek Girl Season 2 comes into work, we will likely see Model Misfit’s storyline in the series.
