Inspired by the ethereal flow of my mellow yellow Liberty Sage dress, I decided to put some effort into styling my hair and used my Jose Eber TRIO curling wand and Garnier Fructis Deconstructed Pixie Play to create soft textured waves in about five minutes. Because that's my patience threshold when it comes to hair styling.
I wore this outfit on the first day of the Loyola Law School Fashion Law Summer Intensive. In its inaugural year, the nine day course provides a concentrated immersion into fashion law and covers topics ranging from trademark law to social media legal considerations. Not only was it a great refresher course, it reminded me of why I'm a fashion lawyer-to bridge the gap between the frivolity of fashion and austerity of the law practice!
I'm looking forward to a busy Saturday. In the morning, I will be breaking down the basics of fashion law while providing practical legal tips for fashion entrepreneurs at the Simply Stylist Sessions at The Grove. And in the afternoon, I will be co-hosting a fun back to school styling session complete with music drinks, and lots of prizes at Westfield Topanga Canyon.
