Gaslight Pizza and Grill in Huntingburg, Indiana serves amazing sandwiches!We were beyond hungry so watching the amazing food coming out of the kitchen at this Dubois County restaurant while we were deciding was almost torture.

Opened as the Victory Theater in 1942, then becoming Gaslight Restaurant and Theater in 1971, and now known as Gaslight Pizza and Grill, this amazing restaurant has really made a name for itself.
Known for mouthwatering pizza, we somehow resisted and decided to try one of the unique sandwiches on the menu!
Our boys easily decided on a Grilled Cheese Sandwich (for Kid #2, age 4) and the Catfish Sandwich (for Kid 1, age 8). They both looked really good–and that fish sandwich was an actual fillet! How nice to see (and he certainly enjoyed it). But what about us?

We weighed our options carefully! There is a hand-cut and hand-breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. I didn’t order it. Surprised, are you?The Stromboli, Reuben Sandwich, and the Italian Submarine (topped with their special sauce) were certainly tempting. But in the end, my husband went with the Johnny Dart, a corned beef and pepper jack cheese creation that’s also available in pizza form.
As for me, it was The Sicilian all the way! I couldn’t resist the temptation of Ham, Bacon, Pepperoni, Sauerkraut, Swiss, and Mozzarella Cheese topped with a special sauce. Served with homemade chips, it was absolutely fantastic!
I still get cravings for the amazing sandwich and homemade chips I had at Gaslight Pizza and Grill in Huntingburg, Indiana.

Gaslight Pizza and Grill in Huntingburg, Indiana has been serving pizza for longer than I’ve been alive! They have to be the area’s oldest pizza parlor.More than just a place to get great food, this Huntingburg, Indiana restaurant also holds events! But that’s not surprising when you notice the stage and plenty of standing room. Open mic night and local bands with talents that range from comedy to acoustic round out this awesome small town restaurant.
