Garnier Moisture Match for Combination/Oily Skin | Review

By Jadecharlotte @jadeodonnell_
There's recently been a lot of adverts all over the TV promoting the new Garnier's new range of 24 hour 'Moisture Match' moisturisers. At this moment in time there are currently five different types, which is designed for a specific skin type: Normal, Normal/Dry, Dry/Very Dry, Dull and the one that I'll be talking about today, Combination/Oily skin
The bottom line is simple. I was born with very oily skin and it's a absolute nightmare to find a good moisturiser that's both cheap on my purse and does what it says on the bottle. I've even tried not using a moisturiser during the winter months but that just makes my skin extremely dry a sore. I had just about given up when I flipped over to another channel and saw this.

First of all I want to point out that unlike some moisturisers that I've used in the past this one managed to stop my skin becoming greasy really quickly, until around maybe 6pm that night my skin was still really matte and had no grease at all. Woopie! It also has a lovely fresh smell, without it being overpowering and to in your face. I find that it's just the right amount to still be able to smell it once you have your make-up on, but not too much that it reminds me of a perfume.
Next the actual concistintcy of the moisturiser. Personally, and this may be different for other people, but I found that it was just a tad gloppy when you apply it, but again, that ment that it didn't slide off my face straight away so I guess that being 'gloopy' was a good thing here.
The only thing that I found that didn't live up to it's promise was that it lasts for 24 hours. I'd say that it lasted until the 12 hour mark and then my face became quite sticky although by then it was almost the end of the day and I wasn't too fussed so it wasn't that disappointing.
All in all I can defiantly recommend this and I think that it may still be on offer at the moment in Superdrug so while there's money off you should at least give it a go to see if it works for you.
Have you tried any of the other creams in the range and how did they work out for you? Let me know in the comments below.
