Over the past year or so Cleansing Waters have taken the beauty world by storm, it seems like that almost very brand has their own foot in the door, so to speak, when it comes to these new found makeup removers.I had been obsessed with the L'Oréal Purifying Micellar Solution until the day came along that I finally ran out. I'd seen reviews popping up all over the place for the new Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and decided to give it a go myself to see what all the hype was about, and more importantly, to see if it could sway me from L'Oreal's offering.
Retailing for £3.33 in Boots it's currently the same price as the Purifying Solution but you get a whole 200ml more, which means that you should end up saving a bit of money in the long run. I also like that the Garnier Water doesn't have that slight chemical smell that I found with the L'Oreal (maybe that May have just been my bottle, I'm not sure).
Also, having extremely sensitive skin I've found that the Garnier Water is much gentler, the L'Oreal, all be it very good would leave my skin quite red and itchy after I'd used it, especially around my eye area.
To conclude, I personally prefer the Garnier Cleansing Water as you get more bang for your buck and it's far gentler on my skin but I would still recommend the L'Oreal Solution to people with non-sensitive skin as it still gets the job done.
