Ganesha Chaturthi

After a long gap i m writing this post .This time i m going to write about a festival which is celebrated all around India “Ganesha Chaturthi”He is known to be the Lord of Power and Wisdom.Ganesha Chaturthi is a Hindu festival .This year every Hindus celebrated on last week September 1 .In Hindu Tradition first prayer is always offered to Ganesh .On this festival occasion Clay artistic have tons of work for preparing Lord Ganesha Idols .They Idols are made in different size from 70 feet to till small size were every people can afford it .Market place in India is fully flooded by people for buying many thing ,with this idols everyone buys umberlla for Lord Ganesh.Umbrellas are designed with several colors .Everyone keeps everything ready and does some poojas by decorating the floors by rice flour called (Kolam). Apart from these things a grand meal will be there in every home ,in Tamil Nadu people does some Kozukattai (Sweet ingredients which is kept inside rice)there are different type of Kozukattai these days its really a awesome dish  and full veg Meal.Once every poojas are over on the third everyone removes the idols and immerse in water ,may be sea ,ponds etc .So by this the festival comes to an end .I hope Lord Ganesha Bless everyone and gives a wonderful year :)
