The highly anticipated Game of Thrones trailer is now out giving gives fans a first look at Season 6 which extends the storyline almost entirely beyond George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series. This trailer might be all that we"ll see of the series until it premiers on April 24th as HBO is not releasing any episodes in advance to media since episodes have notoriously been leaked in the past.
The epic struggle for power in the violent kingdom rages on in the Season 6 trailer with two of my favorite lines from the trailers being:
- At King's Landing, Jaime tells Cersei "Everything they've taken from us they're going to take back - and more."
- - "You're in the great game now," says Tyrion - "And the great game is terrifying."
