"Morton, Hand set to clash at Marlins Park

Pirates starter Charlie Morton and Marlins starter Brad Hand -- who each had success against Tuesday's opposition earlier in the season -- look to repeat those strong outings in the second game of the series at Marlins Park.
Morton tossed seven innings of two-run ball and earned the victory against Miami on May 25 at PNC Park, while Hand threw five shutout innings against Pittsburgh on May 27.
Both have pitched well of late, as well. Since returning to the Marlins' rotation on Aug. 4, Hand has gone at least six innings in three of four starts, and allowed more than one run in just one of those outings. Morton, meanwhile, went at least 6 1/3 innings in his past two starts -- allowing only two earned runs in 13 combined innings.
Things to know about this game
• Marlins outfielder Christian Yelich is hoping to return from the disabled list for the contest after being out since Aug. 9 with a bruised right knee.
• With Hand, a lefty, on the mound, right-handed-hitting Michael Morse -- the former Marlin -- may get the start at first, as has been the case lately vs. lefties.
• Martin Prado, the Marlins' No. 3 hitter, has struggled in his career against Morton, going just 3-for-16 (.188).
