Galaxy nails are something that I love looking at, but have always thought were too messy to actually attempt myself. But after scrolling through endless photo galleries of pretty galaxy-inspired nail art I decided I’d give it a go. Turns out it wasn’t as hard as I had actually imagined!!
I painted a dark navy at the base colour, painted a glitter coat on top and then used a sponge to dab on lilac, magenta, turquoise and white in little patterns. I tried to leave a white space in the center on each so they clouds were radiating… but it didn’t turn out that well! Over the top I added more glitter and drew on a few messy star shapes with a white nail art pen. It’s actually a pretty fun mani actually!
The next time I try out galaxy nails however I will definitely be planning it out a bit better! What do you think? Are galaxy nails something you want to try out? Or are you just not into them?
