During the last couple of days, we have been witnessing an unusually heavy snowfall and low temperatures – winters are typically mild in Greece – which led inevitably to excessive wear of the most unflattering-yet-incredibly-comfortable shoes in the world, aka the Ugg boots. A self-proclaimed shoe person, I spend winters bundled up in ultra-warm clothes, so I can wear whatever type of shoes I like defying freezing temperatures; and I have to admit that it works – well, almost – every time.
So, as the snow retreats, I am getting ready to sport my typical casual chic outfits. They are all built around a pair of fancy flats; the only shoe style created to serve all occasions and indicated for 24/7 wear.
