Friday’s Fab Find: Charity Shopping

Happy Holiday Everyone!

No joke, I do ALL my Holiday shopping in the summer. My items are wrapped and ready to go by September because the idea of setting foot in a mall in December makes me want to set myself on fire.

But, alas, sometimes I need to pick up something. And maybe you do too. I found three great places where you can shop online in the comfort of your own home and support some wonderful charities as well. Everybody wins!

Charity Shopping

Check out these three great companies selling products that make a difference.

The Red Twist

Red Twist offers luxurious cashmere wraps. You may have a hard time parting with these cozy soft sweaters. Red Twist was founded by Amy Cooper, after spending several years living in China with her family. An avid traveller, she longed to find the perfect cashmere to wrap up in. While in Beijing, Amy stumbled upon it - the warmest, softest and yummiest cashmere - the cashmere she had been searching for. So she did what any cashmere-lover would do, she had it made into a wrap to accompany her on her travels.

In addition to her fashion finds, Amy also learned of the hardships of living in Asia, especially for young girls. As a mother of three young girls herself, she is passionate about helping girls have access to education. Room to Read focuses on literacy and gender equality in education. A portion of your purchase will go towards sending an underprivileged girl to school. Check out Red Twist here.
