Friday is Rock'n'Roll London Day

We don’t think it’s an anniversary that anyone would be falling over themselves to celebrate, but this month sees 45 years since Pink Floyd parted company with their founding genius Syd Barrett.
The subject matter, however, is in good hands in this month’s Mojo magazine…

… which takes this seismic event in the history of rock’n’roll as the starting point for a lovingly detailed assessment of The Floyd’s “wilderness years” – the often neglected period between Syd and international megastardom.
Other stars of the Rock’n’Roll London walk to feature in the mag this month are Stuart Goddard and Bromley’s own David Jones.
