Scotrail celebrate 4th of July with Free treats
Queen Street station in Glasgow and Scotrail get into 4th of July celebrations by dishing out NYC Street food including donuts made with Irn-Bru –
American style donuts drizzled with a distinctly Scottish Irn-Bru glaze and gourmet food truck ‘Firebird’, dishing out their naked dogs with lashings of mustard and ketchup – for free.
As part of their “Golden Ticket” campaign, the donuts and dogs are to thank customers for bearing with them during the tunnel closures, and be in with a chance of winning a trip to New York.
Register online (goldenticket.scotrail.co.uk) before July 31st for a chance to win.
The pop-up will be open from 16:30 until 18:30.
The Queen Street Tunnel work is on track to be completed on time, with the High Level station set to re-open on Monday 8 August.
