Free Baby Items

Babies can be very expensive little creatures. On average, a baby's first year can cost parents from $1,500 to $9,000. That's a lot of money, especially in this economy!
Of course, those numbers depend on a variety of factors: what items are placed on the baby shower registry, what items are given as gifts, if the parents use coupons, and if the parents choose brand name or generic.
Still, the base number of $1,500 is a bit much, isn't it?
The good news is that there are many items out there that parents can get for free if they know where to look. If I once again have trouble breastfeeding, they and other companies like Enfamil will be sending me valuable samples and checks to buy more of their products. Even though I'm not sure if I am going to be using formula again, it's worth it to sign up early and get some of the freebies!
