So you are engaged, Congratulations! You must be so excited about the journey you are about to embark on and the next steps into your married life. But, while there are going to be so many fun parts to planning your wedding such as trying on dresses and picking your wedding theme, there are also many stressful elements . I wanted to share with you four parts of your wedding planning journey that can be the most stressful parts.

Four Of The Most Stressful Parts To Planning Your Wedding

You have an idea in mind, and you are excited about your theme and color scheme. But choosing the venue to fit with the vision you have can be more harder than you think. The wedding venue really does need to tick all of the boxes for your day. You need to ensure it has enough capacity for the amount of people you want to attend, has the right sort of services you want and need, or will allow you to supply them onsite yourself. It needs to be within budget and close by to accommodation and hotel offering, especially if it requires a bit of travel. Seeing lots of wedding venues may seem like a lot of work, but it will be worth it to find the right one.

The guest list has to be an extremely stressful element of planning a wedding, especially if you are limiting the numbers to keep the costs down. You have to consider who to invite and work out whether you are having the same amount of people to the day event as you will to the night time reception. Sitting down and writing a list of everyone is the best place to start, and then if it exceeds the amount you want or can have at your venue, work down the list with your partner. It may seem stressful now but once it is done, it is done.

Organising the seating chart

You may think the guest list was the hard part, but actually the seating chart can be just as tough, if not harder to accomplish. Once you have your confirmed list of people who are happily attending, you need to sit down and work out the seating chart. It is a hard one as you need to work out who should sit with who, and this is especially tough if they don't know the person. Just remember that a seating chart is only for the formalities, and once the party gets started everyone mixes around anyway.

Finally, keeping to budget is possibly the most stressful parts of wedding planning. The costs can really spiral out of control if you are not careful. There always seems to be something that you might want or need for your day.Having a spreadsheet of costs is the best way to ensure that you stay on track with the finances and don't spend more than you want or need to.

I hope that this has you more aware of what could cause you a little stress on the lead up to the big day.
