As sad as I am to say this, I am absolutely horrible at coming up with catchy and creative names for my makeup looks. Probably because I almost always throw them together at the last minute. Today, I was just trying a bunch of new things. Fortunately, I am in love (okay, maybe obsessed) with pretty much everything I used for today's look. Instead of just doing a product list and a snippet of what I did, I am going to break it down by eyes, face, and lips.
Eyes:- Rimmel Wake Up Anti-Fatigue Effect + Radiant Glow Concealer in Very Fair/Light

For starters, I applied this awesome Rimmel concealer on my lids and under my eyes. I blended it out with the ever handy Beauty Blender. Using the World Traveler palette, I used blended Morocco in the crease, Pink Champagne on the lid (this shade is everything), Fudge along the lower lash line, and I used Soft Peach above the crease and up to the brow bone. I used Trooper to draw a wing and extended along my upper lashes. I used Noir from the ABH palette to go over that line and smooth it out a little. I curled my lashes, and applied my mascara. I used the NYX pencil to tight line. I then filled in my eyebrows and used the concealer to clean up a bit. I also applied Champagne Pop to the brow bone and just above my brows for some extra oomph.
Pink Champagne: 5th shade top row, Morocco: 2nd shade top row, Soft Peach: 1st shade top row, Noir: last shade bottom row, Fudge: 2nd shade bottom row.

To prep my skin, I lightly spritzed my face with Mario Badescu's Facial Spray and let it absorb for a few seconds. I blended one and a half pumps of Almay Wake Up Makeup and mixed in two drops of the Custom Cover Drops for more coverage. The Almay foundation is a bit more sheer than I like, plus I had a humongous pimple join the party. I applied that and used my NYX Wonder Stick to lightly contour my cheeks and nose. I applied a small amount of the Guerlain Meteorites for some subtle color and I used Champagne Pop to highlight.
Lips:- Kara Gran Tinted Lip Whip
- M.A.C Whirl Lip Liner
- M.A.C Whirl Matte Lipstick
Before applying matte lipstick, proper prep is a necessity. Especially if you already have drier lips. Before applying my eyeshadow, I slathered on the lip whip. By the time I was ready for my lip liner, my lips were smooth and ready for the color.
Even though this look was a bit tedious, I love it. And the new ABH Word Traveler Palette? It is pretty fabulous. As is Champagne Pop and Whirl. I hope you guys have an amazing weekend. =)
