Happy Wednesday Lovelies. Newly added to my food category, is this yummy insert that was recently brunch.
My friend Michelle introduced me to this quaint little homely restaurant in Lordship Lane, London called Le Chandelier. When you enter this pretty place, you'll understand the name quite quickly, given that the place is beautifully set with numerous dazzling chandeliers which contrast well against the interior woodwork. I also love the vintage style influence.
As usual I ordered two dishes (this is the minimum for me), the eggs Benedict (which I've always wanted to try) and a cheeseburger with chunky chips. Both dishes were extremely generous in portion and flavour and the chips were the best I've had to date, they were just right. It's a good thing that I'm well practiced in burger biting because one could easily dislocate the jaw trying to accommodate the delicious burger.
The service was fantastic but given I had a camera, which hinted at my position, they probably thought it best to be on good behaviour, either way they haven't seen the last of me yet and neither have those chunky chips.
