I enjoyed the poet's collection, Chameleon Aura when I read a #ARC last year so I was looking forward to Flowers on the Moon. I really enjoyed this collection. The poems are very short for the most part, only a few lines although some run into between half a page to a page. If the truth be told, I prefer shorter poems. I find them easier to digest. There are some great long poems out there but I've read some that seem almost to ramble. Anyway, themes in these poems are similar to Chameleon Aura; heartache, loss and relationships. I like the style of the poems, almost as if the poet is intimately and directly addressing you.
