Flake Away Scaly Skin with Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Polish

By Arzoo Sharma @prettynhealthy

Flake Away Scaly Skin with Soap & Glory Flake Away Body PolishI'm recently adding more and more body products (specifically Soap & Glory) to my beauty routine. The first addition being the most hyped product from Soap & Glory- the Flake Away Body Polish. Let's see if it's worth the hype or not :)

Price: It was around Rs. 470 for 50 ml. (I'm not sure though, the price chit got lost somewhere)

A superhero strength skin smoothing body polish with Shea butter, sweet almond oil, peach seed powder, sea salt and sugar. Transforms your scaly legs from reptilian to radiant. Scented with our Original Pink™ fragrance.

First things first, oh my my the smell, it's just a-h-amazing! Such heavenly fragrance which can be described as sweet floral, it's the signature scent of Soap & Glory! It makes my bathroom smell like Garden of Eden (but hey, who knows how the Garden of Eden smelled

) or perhaps peach garden or Soap & Glory Garden coz it's their signature scent (Original Pink Fragrance). And it lasts for good 4-5 hours which I absolutely love!

The scrub has exfoliating granules of two types- few small and few big chunk of pieces which looks like granulated sugar on massaging the scrub and I strongly feel that those granules are of sugar only since it feels sticky (not that yucky sticky) but good type of sticky which you'd feel if you scrub with melted sugar. (And yeah, I realized it later that it's got sugar when I read the big fonts on the tub which I didn't read till now *lazy me*!) Whatever it is- sticky or not, it does its part of exfoliation amazingly. Since it is a lil runny, I like to use it without water (not that I don't wash it with water) but I don't like using it on damp/wet skin, I use it on dry skin before washing my skin with water. That way, it doesn't melt with water doing almost no exfoliation! And used on dry skin, it scrubs away ( sshh flakes away) dry, rough skin. Skin feels clean, fresh and soft after using it! If you have oily skin, don't fear, it won't make your already oily skin more oily, it will only add hydration to your skin making you skip lotion in summers though I won't suggest you to skip body sunscreen! The only thing I don't like about it is the tub packaging coz it gets kind of messy and more flowy due to water that adds in the tub while taking bath, gosh I need to be careful with it not making it a water scrub from a flake away scrub.

Overall, I'm in love with this heavenly fragranced scrub and it certainly lives up to its hype, it's due to a reason people are a fan of Soap & Glory products! You try out their products and I'm sure you'll be a fan of the brand too! I feel like trying more and more products from this brand and I'm adding their products one by one to my beauty routine. Next on my buy list is Soap & Glory body wash- stock it for me #Sephora Delhi as I'd be visiting you soon for some Soap & Glory pampering!
