Joico Colour Endure Voilet Shampoo
Over the years, I have tried a whole range of toning shampoos - Lee Stafford, Fudge, John Frieda and Pro:Voke to name a few - but have never been completely satisfied with the result. I decided to give the above ago after it was recommended to me on twitter (thank you!) so headed over to Feel Unique to make my order. Joico Voilet Shampoo costs £12.95 at Feel Unique - not the cheapest shampoo on the market, but it is easily the best I've tried for a long time! Like most toning shampoos you should leave this on to do it's thing for a few minutes before rinsing, meaning you get the most from the toning treatment. The only disappointing thing about this shampoo for me is that it doesn't lather particularly well, meaning I end up using more than I would with another shampoo. Overall though, this is by far the best purple/toning shampoo I've tried, and I've tried lots! It leaves my hair feeling thoroughly clean, fresh, and removes those nasty brassy tones. I love clean looking blonde - almost ashy blonde rather than warm toned. I spoke to my hairdresser about how often you should use a toning shampoo and she said as long as you look after your locks and condition well, you can use them maybe every other wash until you're happy with the result. You can see how it has improved the 'tone' of my blonde in these posts (here and here). Do you know of a good toning shampoo?
