Female Suicide bomber strikes kabulA female suicide bomber rammed explosives laden car into a mini bus carrying foreign workers. At least 12 people were killed in the attack. Eight of the victims are South Africans. A militant group Hizb-e-Islami has accepted the responsibility.  Hizb-e-Islami spokesman claimed that attack is sign of protest against anti-Islam film and is carried out by a 22 year old female suicide bomber, Fatima.

“The anti-Islam film hurt our religious sentiments and we cannot tolerate it. There had been several young men who wanted to take revenge but Fatima also volunteered and we wanted to give a chance to a girl for the attack to tell the world we cannot ignore any anti-Islam attack.” Hizb-e-Islami spokesman said.

There are violent protests in whole of Islamic world produced in U.S.A. American envoy to Libya lost his life as a result of protests.

Hizb-e-Islami spokesman warned of more lethal attacks on NATO troops.

“Foreign troops are fighting against Afghans and foreign civilians are tasked to spy for them. They all are our enemy and will be our target,” Mr. Zarghoon said.

A witness of the blast said that he saw a small white sedan ram into the mini-bus.

“The explosion was so powerful and loud that I could not hear anything for 10 minutes, it was early and there wasn’t much traffic or there would have been many more casualties”.  Eyewitness Abdullah Shah said.

Former Afghan premier Gulbadin Hekmatyar is head of Hizb-e-Islami. He is a veteran warrior who remained U.S ally at one time. Now he is in list of terrorists issued by Washington. Militant group has thousands of di- hard fighters ever ready to blow themselves up. Female suicide bombers are not common in Afghanistan because very few of them drive cars.

It is expected that tough days are ahead for NATO troops in Afghanistan as Taliban are much more threatening than other groups. Taliban announced to kill Prince Harry who is on military duty in Afghanistan. Last week they attacked the British base where Prince Harry is deputed. They managed to kill two U.S. Marines and destroyed six fighter jets.
