Felicity Huffman Pleads Guilty + Lori Loughlin Could Face Prison Time

By Firstladyb

On Monday actress Felicity Huffman pleaded guilty in the “Varsity Blues” college admissions scandal. Now we’re hearing that actress Lori Loughlin and her husband could face prison time for their part in the scheme.

According to CNN, Huffman pleaded guilty to paying $15,000 to a fake charity associated with Rick Singer to facilitate cheating for her daughter on the SATs, the complaint says.

I am in full acceptance of my guilt, and with deep regret and shame over what I have done, I accept full responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions,” she said in a statement. I am ashamed of the pain I have caused my daughter, my family, my friends, my colleagues and the educational community. I want to apologize to them and, especially, I want to apologize to the students who work hard every day to get into college, and to their parents who make tremendous sacrifices to support their children and do so honestly.

Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli could face a minimum of two years in prison, if they decide to take a plea deal according to reports.

The couple is among a long list of wealthy parents who have been offered plea deals in the case.
