We have received the news of the sad and untimely demise of Hon. Shittu Adam Kolawole, who was at one time the Clark of Student's Union Representative Council, Federal Polytechnic Ede [SURC]. We mourn the passing on of a distinguished and a strong giant of Unionism who has left an indelible imprint and a mark on the history of the Federal Polytechnic Ede, Student's Union.
On behalf of the PRESS Body and the then SURC (2016/2017) Under the aegis of Hon. Lawal Babatunde (Baale), a Student's government piloted by Mohammed Raji Adisa( MRM), we convey a heartfelt condolences to the entire bereaved family, relatives, friends and colleagues of the late Hon. Shittu Adam Kolawole ; the Student's Union Government, the Student's Parliament and the entire Students of Federal Polytechnic Ede.
We attribute the death as a 'Colossal loss' and We pray may the good God 'grant the deceased eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the loss'.
We as well challenge the present Student's union leadership to come out big and give her last respect to this Political bigwig because his great political interventions shall remain unforgettable on Federal Polytechnic Ede, Campus encephalon.
However, even as we commesirate his transition, let us also be consoled because he lived a very productive life thoughout his lifetime. His presence was felt as a law maker on Campus .
