I wanted to post this up yesterday but it has been a bit of chaotic couple of days, so only just getting round to writing this today.I can't believe it is the 1st march but I am so happy it is as it means spring is nearly here. Also there is a chance my little girl could arrive this month, I am not due until the 2nd April but everyone seems convinced she will arrive early. Only time will tell.
Onto my favourites and February brought lots of new exciting launches that I have enjoyed testing out.
Firstly and probably my top favorite from the month has to go to the Max Factor Creme Puff Blushes. I reviewed these here and I am still loving them as much as I did when I first got them. The shade I have been wearing constantly is Seductive Pink and my other blushes just haven't had a look in. These are pigmented and give a slight sheen to the cheek, they are just so pretty.
Gosh has been a brand I have discovered more in February and their new spring launches are fantastic. I was luckily enough to be invited to their spring launch event and discovered the wonderful new Xtreme Liquid Gel Liners*. They come in various shades and do not budge once dry. They have become my new go to eyeliners, I have even been rocking blue eyeliner which is right out of my comfort zone.
A second item from Gosh is the Prime & Set - Primer & Mattifying Setting Powder. The lovely Rebecca from Be Beautiful told me about this as it is a great primer for more combination/oily skins, so I decided to pick one up after she raved about it.
You can use this either as a primer underneath foundation or over the top and for you really oily girls this is what you need to keep your skin matte all day. Just a dusting of this under your foundation and it will not budge, no longer will you get any of that midday shine. I will do a full review of this soon.
I am quite fuss free when it comes to my hair, I am not good at styling it and its just not something that gets me excited. These last couple of months though my hair has been so frizzy I have been on the hunt for some products to help with that.
The OGX Kukui Oil Shampoo and Conditioner have been a welcomed discovery, they help tame my hair without making my roots oily which is a huge bonus. These are both worth checking out if you are having trouble managing your hair.
Lastly a surprising favorite for me as I am not a massive lipgloss fan but I have been favouring the Laura Mercier Lip Glace this month. Especially the shade in Poppy a gorgeous red shade. These are so smooth and glossy without being sticky, they last on the lips so well.
